This policy describes how FID Ltd. (株式会社FID, 3-2-26 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan) collects and uses information through the Genview app for Shopify (“the App”).
Information we collect
From your store, through the Shopify API (only after you install the App):
- Store name and domains
- Product information: titles, descriptions, product types, vendors, options, SEO fields and metafields
- Blogs, and the articles the App creates when you approve them
- Theme information, read only: the names of your article templates and whether the App's product structured data embed is turned on. The App does not change your theme.
Information you enter in the App:
- The questions you choose to measure, the article language and the author name
Storefront visits, through our Web Pixel:
- The Web Pixel runs only when a visitor has consented to analytics under your store’s privacy settings.
- For each page view it sends the page path, the query string and the referrer to our server. We store only the date, the page path, the traffic source (the name of an AI assistant, or “other”) and the number of views. We do not store the query string, the full referrer, customer IDs, cart contents, IP addresses or user agents in our database.
- When a visitor completes an order, the Web Pixel sends the order total, the currency and, for each item, only the product ID, the quantity and the line amount. If the visitor read an article published through the App on your store blog within the previous 7 days, it also sends which article it was. We store only monthly counts and totals per article and per product. We do not receive order numbers, customer information, shipping addresses or product names. The visitor’s browser keeps the last article read and the last checkout identifier in the pixel’s own storage, only to link the order to the article and to avoid counting the same order twice; the checkout identifier is not sent to us. We use these numbers to show which articles and products are worth revisiting.
- Our hosting provider’s standard request logs may record IP addresses temporarily for security and operations. We do not use them to identify visitors.
We do not collect personal information about your customers.
How we use information
- To measure whether AI assistants cite your store, and to show you the results
- To draft article, product description and FAQ suggestions for you to review
- To publish or write back content only when you approve it
- To bill you through Shopify and to provide support
We do not sell information and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
To provide the App, we send the questions you measure and relevant product information to OpenAI, Perplexity and Anthropic, whose AI services answer the questions and draft content. The App may also read publicly available web pages that AI answers cite, to understand their structure. We host the App on Google Cloud (Tokyo region).
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Retention and deletion
- While the App is installed, we keep the information needed to provide it.
- When you uninstall the App, we delete your access tokens immediately.
- 48 hours after uninstall, we delete all data we hold for your store, as requested by Shopify.
- Because we do not store your customers’ personal information, customer data requests and deletion requests from Shopify have nothing to return or delete; we acknowledge them.

本ポリシーは、株式会社FID（東京都新宿区西新宿3-2-26 立花新宿ビル6F）が、Shopify 向けアプリ「Genview」（以下「本アプリ」）を通じて取得する情報と、その利用について定めるものです。
取得する情報
Shopify API を通じてストアから（本アプリをインストールした後に限ります）：
- ストア名とドメイン
- 商品情報：商品名、説明文、商品の種類、ブランド（ベンダー）、オプション、SEO 項目、メタフィールド
- ブログ、および承認いただいたときに本アプリが作成する記事
- テーマの情報（読み取りのみ）：記事テンプレートの名前と、本アプリの商品構造化データの埋め込みがオンになっているか。本アプリがテーマを書き換えることはありません。
本アプリで入力いただく情報：
- 計測する質問、記事の言語、著者名
Web Pixel によるストアの閲覧：
- Web Pixel は、ストアのプライバシー設定において閲覧者が分析に同意した場合にのみ動作します。
- 閲覧ごとに、ページのパス、クエリ文字列、参照元をサーバへ送信します。保存するのは、日付・ページのパス・流入元（AIアシスタントの名称、または「その他」）・閲覧数のみです。クエリ文字列、参照元の完全なURL、顧客ID、カートの内容、IPアドレス、ユーザーエージェントはデータベースに保存しません。
- 閲覧者が注文を完了したとき、Web Pixel は注文の合計金額・通貨と、商品ごとの「商品 ID・数量・金額」だけをサーバへ送信します。閲覧者が直前の7日以内に、本アプリで公開した記事（ストアのブログ）を読んでいた場合は、どの記事かも送信します。保存するのは、記事ごと・商品ごとの月ごとの件数と合計金額のみです。注文番号、顧客の情報、配送先、商品名は受け取りません。閲覧者のブラウザは、注文と記事を結び付けることと同じ注文を二重に数えないことのためだけに、最後に読んだ記事と最後の決済の識別子を Web Pixel 専用の保存領域に保持します。決済の識別子は当社へ送信しません。これらの数字は、見直すと効果がありそうな記事と商品をお知らせするために使います。
- ホスティング事業者の標準的なアクセスログには、セキュリティと運用のために IP アドレスが一時的に記録される場合があります。閲覧者の特定には使用しません。
お客様（ストアの購入者）の個人情報は取得しません。
利用目的
- AI アシスタントがストアを引用しているかを計測し、結果を表示するため
- 確認いただくための記事・商品説明・FAQ の下書きを作成するため
- 承認いただいたときに限り、内容を公開・反映するため
- Shopify を通じた請求、およびサポートのため
取得した情報を販売することはなく、広告目的にも使用しません。
委託先
本アプリの提供のため、計測する質問と関連する商品情報を OpenAI・Perplexity・Anthropic に送信し、各社の AI サービスが質問への回答と下書きの作成を行います。また、AI の回答が引用している公開ウェブページを、その構成を把握するために読み込むことがあります。本アプリは Google Cloud（東京リージョン）で運用しています。
安全管理
アクセストークンは暗号化して保存します。通信は HTTPS で行います。
保存期間と削除
- 本アプリをインストールしている間、提供に必要な情報を保持します。
- アンインストール時に、アクセストークンを直ちに削除します。
- アンインストールから48時間後、Shopify からの要請に基づき、ストアに関して保持するすべての情報を削除します。
- お客様（購入者）の個人情報を保存していないため、Shopify からの顧客データの開示・削除の要請に対して返却・削除する情報はありません（要請は受領します）。
