Article 1: Service Description
Genview (the "Service") is an AI search optimization monitoring, analysis, and reporting service provided by FID Inc. (the "Company"). The Company submits queries to AI platforms (including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) on behalf of customers and provides monthly reports on brand visibility.
Article 2: Account Registration
Users must register via Google OAuth. One account per email address. Organizations may have multiple users within the limits of their plan.
Article 3: Subscriptions and Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually from the contract date.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Article 4: Agency Management (Partner Use)
SEO agencies, consulting firms, and similar entities (collectively, "Partners") may create and manage Genview accounts on behalf of their clients.
- Partners shall create one account per client and manage it as the account owner.
- Partners may invite client members to the account with the client's consent.
- Partners shall manage client data appropriately and transfer ownership to the client upon contract termination.
- Account management by Partners is subject to all provisions of these Terms.
Article 5: Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, analyzing, imitating, reproducing, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, scoring engines, AI query systems, or other technical mechanisms of the Service
- Attempting to infer, discover, or disclose the details of GEO score calculation methods, weightings, formulas, evaluation criteria, or other algorithmic specifics (the scoring logic constitutes trade secrets of the Company)
- Using data, scores, reports, improvement recommendations, or other outputs obtained through the Service for resale to third parties, redistribution, or development of competing services
- Abusing the AI query system (including mass automated requests, circumventing API limits, etc.)
- Building competing services that replicate the functionality of the Service
- Using the Service for any illegal purpose
Article 6: Data Ownership and Statistical Use
AI responses and analysis results generated through the Service belong to the customer's organization.
The Company reserves the right to use customer data in anonymized and statistically aggregated form for the following purposes. Individual company names, brand names, or scores will not be disclosed to third parties in identifiable form.
- Calculating and providing industry benchmarks and average scores
- Generating trend analysis and characteristic reports by AI platform
- Statistically measuring the effectiveness of strategies and applying findings to service improvement
- Creating and publishing GEO market research, white papers, and similar research reports
- Improving machine learning and analytical models for the purpose of enhancing service quality
Article 7: Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is." The Company makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the scores, analysis results, improvement recommendations, consulting content, or any other information provided by the Service.
The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost profits, revenue loss, data loss, business interruption, or reputational harm) arising from use of the Service or from actions taken by the customer based on score displays, improvement recommendations, or consulting content — even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
AI platform responses are outside the Company's control and may change without notice. Score fluctuations and the effectiveness of improvement recommendations are not guaranteed; all such information is provided for reference purposes only.
Article 8: Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding the preceding article, in the event the Company is found liable, the total amount of such liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to the Company for the one-month period immediately preceding the month in which the damage occurred.
Article 9: Operating Company
The Service is operated by FID Inc. (FID Ltd.)

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
