Step 1: Basic Settings — Decide How You Want AI to Perceive Your Brand
Before reviewing current AI perception, Genview asks you to define the ideal perception. These settings become the baseline for brand-recognition evaluations and improvement recommendations.
Information to enter
Service or product name:The service or product to monitor
Website URL:The official website URL
Industry and site type:Select the closest option
Competitors:Register competitors for comparison
* The Base plan initially includes one service or product.
Brand positioning
Enter your ideal AI perception, core keywords, and competitive differentiators. Describe clearly how you want AI systems to introduce your company or service.
GA4 integration (optional)
Connecting GA4 lets you review sessions and landing pages from AI-driven traffic. GA4 integration is optional and available to all users.
When the basic settings are complete, click “Save and Continue to Query Settings →”.
Step 2:Query settings——Design 15 queries
Set the queries used to measure when AI systems mention or recommend your company. Genview initially proposes 15 queries: five each for TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU.
Include non-branded queries used by people who do not yet know your company, rather than relying only on branded queries.
Why 15 queries?
Monitoring three funnel stages separately helps identify where your brand is not entering the consideration set. The initial allocation is five queries per stage, but you can change the distribution later.
Review and edit the proposed queries
The proposed queries are a starting point. Edit them to match the questions your customers are likely to ask AI systems.
Stage
Purpose and query examples
TOFU
The awareness stage, when users research a problem or topic. Examples: “What is GEO?” and “What does a company need to be selected in AI search?”
MOFU
The consideration stage, when users explore solutions or services. Examples: “How should I choose a GEO tool?” and “What is the typical price range for GEO tools?”
BOFU
The decision stage, when users compare options and consider adoption. Examples: “Which GEO tools are recommended?” and “What pricing plans does Genview offer?”
* Additional queries can be added beyond the initial 15 for ¥2,000 per query per month.
Review the funnel assignment and query wording separately
Changing a query’s funnel assignment does not automatically rewrite the query. For example, after moving a MOFU query to TOFU, confirm that the wording still matches the new stage.
Set the target URL
For each query, register the page that directly answers the question. Leave the field blank when no suitable page exists.

Queries that are accurate across all active AI platforms, with no misrecognition, become replacement candidates

Genview can automatically detect key pages from the service URL. Review the detected pages and correct any errors.
