FID Inc., which provides the GEO platform Genview, has released a free guide for beginners covering the basics through practical application of structured data (schema) for GEO strategy: "The Complete Guide to Schema Markup for GEO," available starting August 6, 2026.
This guide covers everything from the fundamentals — what schema markup is and why it matters — to where and how to implement it, how to verify it after implementation, and common mistakes, all with illustrations. While Schema.org includes over 800 schema types, only about 150 of them are relevant from a GEO perspective (per Genview's own research). This guide takes 21 of those schemas that Genview recommends and classifies them into four priority ranks — S, A, B, and C — making clear which to prioritize.
